GRACE
Grace is Neal & Carolyn,
a dynamic acoustic duo performing inspired covers and original music in the Philadelphia area.
Neal comes from a rock blues background, deeply rooted in the works of Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, The Black Crowes,
and Stevie Ray Vaughn.
Carolyn's roots lie in the singer-songwriter genre, influenced by the likes of Melissa Etheridge, Sarah McLachlan, and Sheryl Crow. Together, they create a passionate, soulful, account of bare-bones rock music at it's finest.
Neal was born and raised in Havertown, PA. He grew up playing mostly blues & rock with his brother Adam, one of the area's finest
drummers. "The Stand" was the most notable project he was involved with through the late 80's and early 90's.
Carolyn was born and raised in Lincoln, NE, but relocated to Phoenix, AZ after college to pursue music with her sister, Stephanie.
The two sisters played extensively throughout the valley and Northern AZ area for over 10 years. In that time, Carolyn wrote and recorded 3 albums, the latest "What a World" is available at www.graceband.net
Together, Neal and Carolyn perform live shows that leave the audience in disbelief that there are only two people on stage. Their musicianship and vocal harmonies are a rare treat that will leave you wanting more.
